During the last fifty years, the world has seen scientific and technological advancements, mankind has never witnessed in the past. The advances made in space technology, electronics, medicare, biotechnology and information technology are mind boggling.
As India enters the 21st century, after having created the basic infrastructure in science and technology, there is an urgent need to move the country towards modernization and bench marking with world-class quality, as science and technology will play a key role in shaping the future of India in the new century.
The Icfai University has set-up the Icfai Institute of Science and Technology (IcfaiTech) to offer high quality full-time programs in science and technology matching international standards.
IcfaiTech offers four year full-time campus-based B.Tech. Program with branches in Biotechnology, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
IcfaiTech offers contemporary empirical curriculum using the latest pedagogy. IcfaiTech has assembled an eminent faculty to deliver the program. A unique feature of the program is the Internship in various areas of science and technology during the third and fourth years of study. The program is, thus, designed to provide knowledge and skills, both functional and integrative, to enable them to provide leadership in science and technology in the coming years.
We are happy to inform that IcfaiTech, Hyderabad has been recently (July 2006) ranked at 78 among India’s Top 100 Engineering Colleges in the nationwide poll conducted by Outlook magazine.
The pursuit of this program demands intellectual acumen, strength of purpose and willingness to work hard. For those endowed with inquisitive minds and high professional aspirations, the B.Tech. Program of IcfaiTech will be a voyage of discovery.
