With the basic infrastructure in science and technology in place, there is an urgent need for India to move, now, towards modernization and benchmarking with world-class quality. Science and technology will play a key role in shaping the future of India in the new century.

To meet this need for qualified scientists and engineers, the Icfai Institute of Science and Technology (IcfaiTech) was established to offer high quality full-time programs in science and technology.

IcfaiTech offers a four year full-time campus-based B.Tech. Program with branches in Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. IcfaiTech also offers the M.Tech. Program and the Ph.D. Program.

The fast increasing numbers of technical institutions of higher learning and the consequent need of faculty therein, have been resulting in the fall of standards of teaching in such colleges. This has been a cause of serious concern at all the institutions that wish to provide high quality education, including those at national and international levels.

In order to address this issue, IcfaiTech has decided to launch its "IcfaiTech Fellowship Program" and attract the young talent to be trained to emerge as highest quality teachers in the respective fields and compete in the international arena.

The IcfaiTech Fellowship Program of IcfaiTech leads to the award of M.Tech. and Ph.D. Degrees and provides intensive training in research methodology and exposure to teaching and research activities at universities abroad. It also imparts training in contemporary techniques for teaching specific subjects in science and technology in functional and integrative manner. For those endowed with academic aptitude, inquisite minds and a passion for teaching, research and consultancy, this program will provide an excellent platform for a promising career.
