All students joining the B.Tech. Program will be given laptop computers at the beginning of the Program as computers are extensively used for studies and assignements at IcfaiTech, Agartala.

All payments should be made by way of Demand Draft in favor of "IUCF A/c IcfaiTech", payable at Tripura, Agartala.

All successful applicants who have been offered admission in the B.Tech. Program of IcfaiTech, Agartala are required to pay the admission fee on or before July 30, 2008. The admission fee is non refundable.

All students are required to pay a caution deposit of Rs.10,000 along with the first installment of the tuition fee. This deposit is towards use of library books, computers, labs and other facilities.

Caution deposit will be refunded without interest (and after adjusting for dues, if any) to the students on completion of the program.

Students are required to contribute Rs.11,000 to the Student Activities Fund. The fund is administered by a committee consisting of student representatives and faculty under the supervision of the Director/Principal. It is utilized to finance student activities including special classes for development of soft skills, placement brochure/placement related activities, participation in competitions, picnics, cultural events, welcome and valedictory functions etc. It is also utilized to reimburse hospitalization expenses up to Rs.1,00,000 due to illness and accidents during their course of study at IcfaiTech, Agartala. The payment of Rs.11,000 is to be made in two installments of Rs.5,500 each along with second installment and sixth installment of the tuition fee.

All students of the B.Tech. Program of IcfaiTech, Agartala are required to become members in the IcfaiTech Alumni Society (ITAS).

The provisional membership in ITAS entitles the students to participate in seminars, workshops, conferences and local chapter activities organized by ITAS. The fee is Rs.10,000 payable along with the last installment of the tuition fee.

Hostel facility within the campus is available in Agartala. All candidates who will be joining B.Tech. Program should stay in the hostel accommodation available within the premises. They have to pay a hostel deposit of Rs. 10,000 along with the first installment of tution fee in addition to the room rent. Local students may be permitted to stay outside the campus with prior permission.

Banks provide educational loans to the applicants selected for the B.Tech. Program of Icfai Institute of Science and Technology (IcfaiTech), Agartala. Applicants are required to approach the branches in their city/town for educational loan. The loan amount will be disbursed in stages as per the fee schedule. There are no margin requirements.

The interest rate applicable to education loans is around 9-12% or less. The loan documents should be executed by both the applicant and the parent / guardian with joint and several liability. Repayment starts 1 year after completion of studies or 6 months after getting a job (whichever is earlier).
